The Energy Innovation Co-op met with Peter Marriott and Taryn Lane in Leongatha recently, to discuss a new proposed wind farm, to be sited within pine plantations towards the Latrobe Valley.

OSMI is undertaking the initial proposal development and wants to ensure there is early collaboration and engagement with groups such as the Energy Innovation Co-op, building community involvement and community benefit into the proposal from the start.

The Energy Innovation Co-operative was able to brief OSMI on its projects, including its co-ordination of  the Gippsland Renewable Energy Roadmap, its  Totally Renewable Towns Initiative which is being trialled on Phillip Island as a broad collaboration between community groups, businesses and organisations working towards a zero net emissions target, and other projects.

We would encourage as many people as possible to fill out the OSMI survey www.surveymonkey.com/r/osmi2019

There will also be a community engagement job opportunity: www.osmi.com.au
